Keep your research - and let Squire remember it

Save findings as notes you can share, and let Squire carry research across every chat on a matter so you never re-explain the background.

Good research shouldn't evaporate when a chat ends. Squire lets you save the findings worth keeping as notes, and it quietly builds up what it knows about each matter so your next conversation already has the context.

What you get

Notes

  • Save any finding as a note - private, shared with a matter team, or org-wide
  • Ask the assistant to append new findings to an existing note over time
  • Notes are searchable and appear in the matter sidebar

Matter memory

  • Each matter builds up its own knowledge from your chats, notes, and documents
  • A new chat automatically has access to everything gathered across the matter
  • The AI builds on the matter's earlier research instead of starting from scratch

Where to find it

  • Open a matter and go to its Knowledge tab. There you'll find Knowledge, Notes, and Documents side by side - what Squire has gathered, the notes you've saved, and the matter's documents, all in one place.

  • Under any AI chat response, click Save as note, or simply ask - "save this as a note" or "add this to my research note". Choose personal, matter, or organisation visibility when you do.

  • Matter memory needs no setup. As long as a chat is linked to a matter, its findings are pooled and reused - chats that aren't linked to a matter start fresh each time.
