Track every party and catch conflicts early

Squire™ extracts the people and companies involved in your matters and flags when the same party is your client in one and the opponent in another.

Knowing who is involved - and on which side - across every matter is the basis of a clean conflict check. Squire™ reads your documents and matters, builds a graph of the parties, and can tell you when someone who is your client in one matter turns up as the opponent in another.

How it works

    Squire™ extracts the parties

    As you upload documents and build matters, Squire™ pulls out the people, companies, and courts involved, along with their role and which side they're on.

    You keep the graph tidy

    Review, merge, and edit entities so each real party is a single record - which keeps both the AI's context and your conflict checks accurate.

    Run a conflict check

    Squire™ flags a party that appears as your client in one matter and as the opposing side in another - the classic conflict of interest - before it becomes a problem.

Where to find it

  • On a matter, open the People tab and then Entities to browse every party Squire™ has extracted for that matter - open a single entity to see and edit its details and where it appears. The Entities entry in the sidebar shows the same across your whole organization.

  • A conflict check runs automatically as a step when you take on a new client during intake. You can also run one any time from Conflict Check in the sidebar - enter a prospective client's details and Squire™ scans every client, matter, and related party firm-wide for parties that sit on opposite sides.

  • Extraction happens automatically - the parties on a matter also feed into the assistant, so it already knows who is involved when you ask about a matter.
